Knitting, crocheting, sewing or donating new scarves, hats, gloves, and socks for Project Homeless Connect.
We all have the ability to use our talent to better a person life. I've choosen to knit because it is the thing I enjoy. I've met so many people who are willing to help others. Unfortunately, there are those who use their power and position to make other people lives miserable. It's a choice. Which one will you choose?

Getting Colder
Last Friday I stood outside in line for 15 minutes waiting to get tires. It was 21 degrees. It made me think about the number of people who spent the night before without shelter.
Scarves, hats, gloves, and socks will be collected for distribution at Project Homeless Connect in January 2013. Project Homeless Connect is a one-day eventheld at the Egan Center. Any person who is homeless can access a range of services for free in one place. To join our group, please send an e-mail to ascarf4u@gmail.com.
